07 Mar 02 - 08:24 AM (#664131) Subject: Sean Moan_I think? From: GUEST,chanter Can anyone help? I was at a singing weekend in Country Tyrone a couple of years ago. I went with a friend and didnt know most of the singers. I heard a man sing a song I think he had written himself, about the Rev. Willie McCrea. It ws one of the funniest songs I've ever heard! It wasnt rude or anything like that but took the P**s out of the Rev. I think the singers name was Sean Moan (or Home) I'm not sure. Has anyone heard this song, is it on CD or tape! or can anyone tell me if I have the right singer. Sorry, not much to go on, but I hope someone can help. |

On the other hand, if you'd rather hear William McCrea himself sing AMAZING GRACE and THE OLD RUGGED CROSS, YouTube has that, too. It's easy to see which group is having more fun. |
