Memories are of talking late into the night and playing my Buddy Holly collection. He lost a contact lens in my mother's front room and signed my guestbook "Phil Ochs, Hanoi". He also recorded two of his new songs for me "Flower Lady" and "Cannons of Christinity", putting the chords down for me afterwards. I still have the tape. Is it time for singers to revive "Cops of the world?" |
