Naemanson not to wed... YET!

Rebecca and I talked about it and have decided to take the wedding pressure off of our relationship. This is not a bad thing and nothing has ended. We're just taking a little longer before we wed.

So those of you who were planning to come to Maine for July 14 can now make other plans.

Thanks,

Brett

... or they can just come anyway, and have a massive party just because they like you!

...or not...

Just an idea!

(the idea is to remove presssure, right?) ;-)

We certainly respect your wisdom and discretion regarding such matters, appreciate the update, and continue to wish you both the best.

Hopefully, there will be something worthy of celebration around that time - another Shanty-Hoot, anybody?

Rumor has it that Capt. Steve is coming along nicely on his barn in Gray, and there must be other possibilities. At that time of the Tourist season, I would think that one of the Maritime - themed Museums or Historical Sites might be induced into providing some space and amienities in exchange for a little song and levity which no doubt la Touristas would find entertaining.
What say ye, Naem'; let's run it by Charlie & the "Roll-&-Go" Crew etc., and see if we can't float it?

Are any local 'Catters considering the Mystic Seaport Seasong Fest in June? A'nt Mahtha & I are taking vacation about that time & strongly considering it.

Do what is best for you both, Brett. As if you needed me to say that. When will you be in Portland next? I almost made the Bath Antiques Show this weekend using the map you sent me.
Love,
SINS

You're thinking of Guest Baths, Spaw. Sinsull is talking about the Maine Bath.

No...I am talking about the Antiques Show in Bath, Maine. SIGH!!!!! Ignore them, Brett. And don't let Rebecca see their posts or she will insist on an elopement.

I'm sorry to hear that! But it's good that you two are backing off the presure and taking things slowly. Best of luck.

Thanks gang, I'm sure it will turn out fine. We both have issues that need to be addressed, that's all. We will get it worked out and set a new date one of these days. A fall wedding would be nice.

Sins, we considered eloping just about every time we worked on plans for the wedding. Postponing may be another shot at eloping.

By the way, Sins, you got any plans next week? Mind if we drop in for a visit to see the new digs?

Brett, there's always the Charley Noble engagment plan, 12 years of procrastanation, and then big blow-out party. Still, the postponement does give me more time to compose verses, and I appreciate that.

Congratulations to you both, for being wise enough not to rush into a commitment as a knee-jerk reaction to pressure. Good for you!

All the best of luck to both of you as you grow even greater in wisdom.
