When I worked for Shell, at their refinery in Essex, they recognized it as a serious problem. Smoking is not compatible with volatile fluids and gases. so they dealt with it in a reasonable and rational way. Of course they were pragmatic business men and not politicians, or the press, or the gullible public. So they just went ahead and fixed the problem. If any pragmatic business man has a problem with smoking at his site or workplace, he can send me a personal message and for a comparatively small fee I will divulge the complete solution to his problem. |
