Is "Sunny Girvan" an oxymoron?

Yup - I'm going and somehow or other seem to have hithced a lift on a yacht over from Ireland. Staying in the Westcliffe tho!

I'm Chris and should be with a fiddle player, guitar player (both male) and a female box player (German) - Oh and Chris is male and I do bodhran and sing!!

Hope to bump into you other catters Chris

Girvan was very sunny indeed last year... so there, Hrothgar :P

Yes, I'll be there on the Saturday at any rate, and weather permitting, will be sitting outside at the Westcliffe like last year, or wherever the singing sesh is...

Planning to be there for the songwriting competish in the morning, maybe the trad singing also....

I'll be the guy with the red (very red) Crafter mandolin and the big hat. Depending on the weather, it'll either be a white(ish) straw hat or a big ol' Aussie style leather job.

If you see me, say hello...

Cheers

Steven

Can't make it this year as I'm going to be down in Englandshire doing some Morris dancing. The Teesdale Thrash to be precise.

If you run into Keith Cockburn be sure to call him by his new nickname of 'pond life'.:-)

Yes, Dita will be there as usual. I'm down to MC some of the concerts, but what I'll be doing I'll only find out, in traditional Girvan style, sometime after I arrive, so can't say in advance where I'll be.
I have heard that the Catholic hall will be a licenced festival club, this year.
I'll wear my Mudcat T-shirt on one of the days, so as long as I haven't fallen over on my face, you can come and say hello if you see me.
love, john
