05 Sep 02 - 06:26 AM (#777364) Subject: Ullapool Guitar Festival (UK) From: GUEST,Harvey (at the library) Are any 'catters going to be there? (11th - 13th October). It's a weekend of workshops, concerts & masterclasses in NW Scotland. I want to go because I figure anyone who's prepared to go to such a remote spot must be very dedicated to the instrument. I haven't been before. If anyone is going, I'm having a problem finding anywhere I can put my caravan for the weekend - the local site is closed and although I've phoned the owner he's unwilling to open up his ablutions block or his electric hook-ups for the weekend. Strangely unenterprising for a Scot!

Unfortunately it coincides with another little bit of a do, about 30 miles from Ullapool, but only 16 from me in Lairg. Not only that it takes place over the same days, BUT; in an hotel. Drink moi?
