It was named after the Dutch Captain Mey, and is an island off of NJ's southern point. The place is entirely renovated Victorian. Or if this is some other Cape May, where is it? |

However, I know someone who claims to know someone who claims to know the author. I'm also chasing down a couple of other leads. Hang in there - we'll find it.
