Try "the children's carousel, the chestnut tree, the wishing well" with a D or D7 augmented instead of the "D7" and the "A9". Story: My Mother was a singer in the USO during WW2 and that is when she met my father who also was a thespian and educator! Together, this was their song until his death in '03. At the funeral home, my Mother touched his hand and said, " I love you, Rob. I'll be looking at the moon and seeing you." In the movie, " The Notebook", I see a familiar reenactment of their love that fit that bill. This song is reminiscent of all of such loves! Thank you! |
