From: Stewie Peter On the 'Essential' Broonzy [ Click Here ] it is attributed to Bill 'Jazz' Gillum for whom Broonzy played guitar on numerous recordings. It is not on any of the Gillum collections that I have and, from consulting Dixon & Godrich, Gillum would have recorded it after 1943 if he ever recorded it all. --Stewie. |
