My ex-husband's second wife was a few years older than he, and she had five children from her first marriage. Her first child was born when she was 13 (No, she wasn't from the south!) and he was only 9 years younger than her new husband. They went on to have two children themselves. So now, my ex is 65 years old- a great grandfather since age 58. His youngest grandchildren are a pair of twins, born last year. He is the only person I know who is the grandfather of three sets of twins. Our daughter has a pair, now 12 years old, his son and his Esso have a pair of boys, and one of his stepdaughters has a pair. Life gets convoluted at times, don't it. |

The Elddist sister Margaret is in her mid 50's, there is a 17 year age gape between me and Margaret. So that's how I can be 37 years old and be a great uncle, because I became an uncle when I was six years old, and by the time I was 20 I had 7 nephews and neices. Tom |

Nephew Ted, however, became an uncle for the first then -- and he's 8. He called and asked me how to be an Uncle, because he didn't know and there was nothing in the library. Congratulations, Tom! |

The William part is my Mother's name (Williamina) and the James part is my father's name (James) Sso in other words he's named after his great gran and great granddad in Scotland. I'm chufffed. |
