BS: Happy Christmas from Rick and Heather

Subject: BS: Happy Christmas from Rick and Heather

Of course if you prefer to celebrate the rest of all those difficult to spell holidays, this is for you as well.

Jeez, this is the fourth (it can't be the fifth can it?) Mudcat Christmas for us....I can hardly believe it. Quite the hobby eh?

Oh, and most hobbies don't provide you with a new member of the family...but as usual Jeri will be making the LONGGGG commute from New Hampshire to join us for a few days in Toronto....and without her here it simply wouldn't feel like Christmas.

So to all the good folks we've come to know through this weird and wonderful place....HAPPY BLOODY EVERYTHING!

Cheers

Rick and Duckboots

Merry, Merry All of those holidays and more! And, thanks for being here, to all of you!

FOUR years!? Wow! Seems like just yesterday that Jeri was going for the first time. How many hugs can you pass on? One more from me, please, and Jeri, if ya start passing out hugs when you get there and don't stop, maybe you'll be halfway through those that I know a lot of us would like to send up north, too. Lucky you, going to the house of music!

Merry Holly Daze, everyone!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all from Florida. My wife and I will be meeting with Catspaw and family this afternoon. He called from Gainesville last night and plans to pull out about 9:30 this morning (Sunday) which should put them here about 1:00PM. Really looking forward to it!!

I just looked to see when my first recorded post was on the Mudcat. It was at 8:52, January 13th, 1999. I think I lurked for a while before getting involved in posting so I think this is my fourth Christmas as well. I have certainly enjoyed the time and hope that we all can share much more of the future.

All I have to do is stuff everything in the car and leave. I figure I'll arrive around 7 - 8:30 tonight if I don't check out every pair of sunglasses at every rest stop on the way.

I've come to love Rick & Heather like a brother and sister. Makes it pretty weird with my bro & sis being married to each other, but hey, I'm not being judgemental, and ancient Egyptians used to do that sort of thing all the time.

Happy Bloody Everything from me too!

Happy midwinter festivals to you two, too -- despite the fact that you lure Jeri from our festive board in balmy New Hampster (well, right now it is) to T'ronto. (It's okay -- we did Christmas with her here last night.)

Happy holidays and the best of everything to EVERYONE for the coming year!

Linn

And a very happy Season of Celebration(s) to you and Heather!!

However long it's been that you and Duckboots have been celebrating with us 'Cats -- IT AIN'T LONG ENOUGH, so stay healthy and happy, and keep playing and singing for us, y'all. ;-)

Love, Áine

(PS. Hey Jeri, could ya pack a hug from all of us here at Moon on the Hill for those Canucks in your suitcase? Thanks! *BG*)

Just heard from her Jeriness, and they've let her across the border. Guess she's pretty respectable looking and isn't going to overthrow the Canadian Government!

Have a great one folks.

Double fold a couple of hugs from me and Barky in that valise to those fine Canucki, wouldja?

Rick, it's been one helluvan interesting few years watching your avuncular graces permeate these threads and hearing your fine, fine songs as well. Thanks for doing so much to make this place so alive and musical, funny and intelligent, so....well, so Mudcat!

And special thanks to Heather for making Rick possible!! A lesser woman would have quailed at the prospect!! :>)

Love ya,

A
