February as most of you know, is Black History Month in the U.S. Here's a quiz to test your knowledge.
**Black History Quiz with Research Links**

You'll be surprised at some of the answers! Have fun.

I didn't do too badly......thanks, Tweedzer. Interesting stuff. Hope Jerry Rassmussen looks into this one. He would like it.

Thanks for posting that. One name that I think should have been on the question of pre- Rosa Parks is Bayard Rustin, who participated in a 1947 interstate bus desegration effort called the "Journey of Reconciliation," along with James Farmer and activists from the pacifist organization the Fellowship of Reconciliation. Rustin was arrested when he refused to move to the back of the bus.

10 out of 12 -- not too bad, but not where I'd like to be.

Nailed it 12 for 12, but of course I teach a Black History course at the Job Corps Center where I work. Just remember that some of the questions are perception questions as opposed to fact-based. And in the last question, think who might have heard the word, "revolutionary" enough to put it into his vocabulary in his younger years.
