Rumour has it that there is a new session at the King B****y in Cottingham on Monday. Anybody got any info - I'm in Hull on Mondays now, and would like to attend if possible. Dáithí

In the front bar kick off around nine its a mixed kind of session hasn't reallly found its direction as yet. The Landlord is only temporary but hopes to take on the pub on a permament basis, he's a canny accordion player and guitarist who likes country music but is happy for anyone to play anything.

There'll be a group of us coming tonight, Daithi, but it may be about 10 when we arrive. Don't go away if you seem to be on your own!

Well just to let folks know we had a grand session - small but cosy and fine music. One interesting question though. Who was supposed to be organising the thing in the first place? Only folks who showed were those who saw my original posting enquiring if there was a session on Mondays!(Plus a gaggle of whistleplayers - made a change to outnumber the accordions!)
Ah well,See you at the Sloop tonight maybe.
Slán go fóill - D

Can't say definitely, as it is not organised by any particular person. It starts about 9pm. It might be best to phone and check with the landlord, who is keen to keep things going.
