From: Melani There's an outfit called Berkeley Surplus on San Pablo Avenue in Berkeley, CA that might be able to get a line on one or even have it in stock. They've got military stuff from all over the world. I think he may be planning to be in the San Francisco Bay Area at some point; maybe he could get over there. |

From: GUEST,NH Dave Regardless of the color of the hat, you can always obtain a cover in another color, usually white, to go over the hat at ex-service stores. At one time all that was issued was a frame and covers of different colors, the hat did not have a cover sewn on. Dave |
