Lyr Req: San Bernardino Waltz (Mary McCaslin)

Does anyone have lyrics to Mary McCaslin's San Bernardino Waltz? Rumor has it that it was recorded on her "Way Out West" vinyl LP and that it has been re-released on her "Things We Said Today" best-of CD.

Thanks!

Click here for a sample. It's from "Things We Said Today," which is a very nice CD collection of Mary's best.

Maybe it's there. I can't hear it though.

SAN BERNARDINO WALTZ
by Mary McCaslin

I came to this hot dusty town.
To be with the lover I'd found
The people were all standing round
For the San Bernardino Waltz

He didn't like the love that I'd made
He had some ideas for my aid:
Change partners for the big promenade
For the San Bernardino Waltz

I've tried doin' the best that I can
I've been seen with a most wanted man
I'm not ready to change partners again
For the San Bernardino Waltz

I feel like an outlaw in town
The way my name keeps going round
My ears have grown tired of the sound
Of the San Bernardino Waltz

So farewell to the gray hazy sky
That hides all the mountains so high
Farewell to them all standing by
And the San Bernardino Waltz

Way Out West, Philo, 1973
