BS: Mooman Celebrates

The different title is because birthday threads are often frowned upon. However, It is Richard's birthday.

Happy birthday.

I hope the celebrations over the weekend were enough, if they wern't have a great day.

I still have your card and will post it, so even if it's late, the best of wishes come from me.

Ah screw that "bad thread" thing....It's just Joe hates them because they all say the same thing, namely Happy Birthday. The real trick here is to run a non-birthday thread like the one that currently is running wishing me a HBD when it isn't for a month yet....and the thread has already been running a month!

The other thing is that I try to make my post so completely different that Joe can't say that. All I have to do is wish the birfusday person something a bit different, like.......

Mooman my friend, on this glorious day when you are downtown buggering the Little Pissant, don't forget to give him a reacharound!!!

All the Best Richard!!!

Spaw

Continuing thanks to all!

Dear Liz,

My current impecunious situation (with the Good Lady McMoo redundant and not yet pre-posthumously famous as an artist) means I will most likely have to sell the black and chrome beauty in the near future to afford repairs to leaky windowframes (oh....the tragedy of it all!). Before I do that I shall arrange a fetching photograph of myself astride said machine and send it to you as promised many times previously!

Richard,

I'm sorry I missed the big day!!Was going to send you a Jpeg of me an' Lee a while ago .. but since now I've lost a stone and a half I might do a different one for Christmas (and the nearly nude Calendar) then ALL your birthdays can come at once :) !

Hey Hille - you losing weight too? Mrs Duck says she knows where mine went, perhaps she knows were yours went too!

Moo, I am saddened by the news, as indeed you must be. You could always rent yourself out as a Taxibike or courier, that way you make money and get to keep the bike. Taxibikes are becoming more popular in London as a way of getting to places and beating the jams. I know of at least 5 celebs who insist on bikes when they go to interviews in Town.

Take care and I hope the Lady McMoo finds something soon. Having been there, I know it's terribly frustrating and downright depressing. Give her a special hug from us (see, I can get over this insane jealousy!)

Happy 49th, although I have to say you are anti-ageing faster than that. Happy birthday, my good friend.

Once again ....heartfelt thanks to my good friends!

Dear Hille,

As I am besides myself already with love because of your piccie in the photos, your suggestion has me positively salivating. Quite possibly all my remaining birthdays will come at once! (control yourself man!).

Dear Hil,

This offer will gladly be taken up!

Dear Liz,

Maybe you're right! Once a biker, always a biker they say and I've been riding for 36 years! I shall surely miss my beauty. The Good Lady says that hopefully one day I can have a Harley to which I reply "Get busy flogging those masterpieces then!"

Dear Gnu,

Many thanks...and we will have that pint together next time I'm over in the Maritimes!

Dear Skipjack,

I am desperately trying to solve the mystery of this anti-aging process! Perhaps as the saying goes ...you're as old as the woman you feel!

Dear Linda,

Too long no see! I still have "Sparehand" (was that the title?) going round in my head. Looking forward to a hug and chuckle with you in the not too distant future.

Dear Wilried,

It was good to meet you too and I enjoyed your song and poem!

Dear Letty,

What can I say....you did us all proud in Groningen. A special big hug!

Love and peace to all,

moo

Didn't contribute to the thread because I meant to say congrats in person, but then of course I forgot. So regard this as an early happy b-day for next year.

Late though it was, because I should have brought it down on the Sunday to Letty's parents(not realising you were going home). I hope the card has reached you.

Are you up for next years Eurogathering then? Don't see why we should change the weekend, it's always been that one so far.

Subject: RE: BS: Mooman Celebrates
From: mooman

Thanks a lot Eric! It arrived...just got it arriving back from Milan!

Don't change the weekend and bowlocks to the detractors! This is the now "traditional" Mudcat EuroGather weekend (this is the Mudcat Cafe is it not?) and as you said over on the other thread no-one will change a festival date 'cos we have conflicting commitments. We'll be there for sure and I'm sure we'll get a good "Euro" contingent as usual! Don't forget it is a good weekend for continental Europeans thanks to public holidays in most countries and the whole idea is for it to be a EuroGathering.

All the best (and to Andy too)

Richard
