Yes It's official - I knew it would be...

From the horse's mouth..."Lynda and Betty, though, have no ears for
cricket talk. They are too preoccupied with
Jean's news and what it means for the
organisers of Gardens Open Day… Lynda is
already trying to muscle in with suggestions
for transport between the gardens and a
welcoming committee - for Alan Titchmarsh is
to be the celebrity judge!"

Told ya John

Radio Times gave it away by saying the competition was being opened by a Yorkshire Sex God. Hmmmmm - define sex god please!

Oh, please let Lynda get her way and have Alan T. drawn about the village by her llamas! You just KNOW what will happen!

And didn't he write a - reportedly - steamy novel? You mess around with cross-polination too long and it's bound to have an effect on you ...

Booooring! But if it had been Charlie Dimmock, now : the lack of visuals on radio don't bother me,Ms Lemon: I have a vivid imagination. those swelling buds, thrusting urgently in the warmth of an English June morning I think I need a cold showere. Now, say Charlie D visiteed Ambridge and met Brian Aldridge?

Ms Dimmock always struck me as being a very sensible girl so she would probably chew BA up and spit him out in the cesspit, where he belongs.

Actually CD always seems to be stronger than her male colleagues on GroundForce so perhaps she could knock him to the ground and break each bone SLOWLY!

I am going away now to think of some suitable slow and painful means of death. lol
