07 Jul 03 - 02:16 PM (#978443) Subject: Any Mudcatters in Northern CA (SF area) From: Maryrrf Hello, I'm going to be visiting my son who lives in Pleasant Hill, CA not far from San Francisco. We've gigged together when he comes to the East Coast and make a pretty good folk/celtic duo. He's looking around for coffeehouses, pubs in the area that might let us play but if anyone knows of any folk clubs, coffeehouses etc. that might be a good bet please let me know! I also welcome suggestions about any great places, concerts, etc. that we should try to get to while I'm there, or if any Mudcatters want to meet up and chat/jam. I'll be there from August 5th - August 12th - probably far too late to set up any gigs but I thought I'd give it a shot anyway. |

Bluegrass Association may have info on their web page. I am 3 hours from the s.f. bay area, and 2 hours north of Sacramento. the s.f. folk music society might be your best bet. the link provided for the free folk fest will have some helpful ideas. |
