Right-thinking (or left-thinking, if you swing that way) Mudcat habituees, used to that certain individual's pointed comments on repetitive birthday threads, CD promotions, and other such redundencies, are aghast at this gratuitous misuse of his alleged power over Mudcat content. I was surprised that there wasn't any notice beforehand, so I thought we should do something. So, I found all the threads we had that had the word "million" in them, and opened about a dozen of them and typed messages. Then I hit all the "submit" buttons, one after another. As luck would have it, I got the one-millionth message - in a thread about fraud. Joe has several helpers called 'Joe clones' who do a slightly lower level version of these tasks, and above Joe are Max and Pene Azul (Jeff)(chief programmer and Lord High Techie) who have access to the Mudcat program itself. Joe is the name you see most often and is a man of 'almost' infinite patience..(but don't test his limits..*grin*) |
