Actually will fit any banjo that has a "Square Dowel" method for mounting the neck. I'm fed up with the thing, I have "Scruggs pegs" mounted on the peg head and they are at the absolute end of my arms reach. This makes me very weary after a while. I use a capo, mostly, but I still have t0 R E A C H for the "D=Tuners". This neck was hand made by the great Todd Farnham when he was still a cop on Prudence Island in 1925.. Todd said that this was his very first project, while he was still an amateur lluthier. If no one wants this beautifully inlaid neck, I'm going to cut it down and use the cut out piece as kindling for my barbecue. The "pot" was hand made by Fred Bacon, himself. I will not part with this for all the tea in china., but may swap the whole banjo for a 1960 or before Martin D-28 (fat chance) Your friend and mine Jody Gibson 36 Charles St Newport, Rhode Island 02840 crankyyankee3@WMconnect.com |
