From: open mike happy b-day to you too, lady!! i went on a 6,000 mile road trip and made it home safe--that is an adventure...plus I met a couple of mud cat and pal talk friends, made music in city parks, basement rec. rooms, on board sail boats, in living rooms, and camped out by mountains, rivers, in back yards, front yards, canyons, heard coyotes, cows and crows (my leaast favorite "song" bird!) and night hawks--one of the ones i like to hear along with kill-deer, and red-winged black birds. Saw bison (but they were in a fence) helped a cousin cut hay on the farm, met new relatives and exchanged family tree information, and most of all buried my parents' ashes. I added to my cup- board some varieties of hot pepper relish/jelly, and with the4 help of Sorcha, found 2 of the tunes i had been searching for for many years: "Nail the Catfish to a Tree" and "Pikes Peak"! Thank you Sorcha!! |
