Lyr Req: Travellin' Man (from Tommy Hunter)

Looking for this song's words. Used as a closing theme for the Tommy Hunter show.

This is all I can remember:

I am a travellin' man
Followin' the breeze
Travellin' here and travellin' there
Gathering memories
So let me wander,
All my life away

Does anyone have more?

The whole thing is in the Reader's Digest "Canadian Family Songbook"

TRAVELLIN' MAN
Words/music Al Rain

[C]I am a travellin' man, [Bb]following the breeze,
[C]Travellin' here and travellin' there, [Eb]gatherin' memories.

CHORUS:
So [G7]let me [C]wander, [Am]let me [Em]wander [F]all my [E7]life a-[Am]way,
Just a-[F]travellin' [G7]on my [C]way, just a-[F]travellin' [G7]on my [C]way.

2. Some have said a travellin' man walks a lonely mile,
But I find friends along my way who offer me a smile.

3. I tell people that I meet I've travelled far and wide.
I've just one man for company. My dear Lord's by my side.

4. May I keep a-wanderin' until the day I die.
There's nothing that can tie me down. I'm free as the birds that fly.

Enjoy...

I found myself singing the Tommy Hunter theme, Travellin' Man.

The recorning in digital format? Not a chance.

So, if I can't have the recording, now I can at least sing it myself.

Thank you fellows.

Have not reached Al Rain yet. Hoping he is still around to chat about his song.

I am releasing "Travellin' Man" by Al Rain on my new Studio album "Canadian Folk Classics" on 150 digital platforms this Spring of 2021. We are almost finished 10 songs and Travellin' Man sounds amazing with all four verses.

You will be able to find my version on Spotify, Apple, YouTube and many more platforms this spring.
