I'm coming (for the first time!) from the opposite direction. I'm leading a song workshop at 9 pm on Saturday. See you there- Jerry, I want to be sure to meet you!

I'll be there with ShoreGrass, doing "Songs of the Civil War Era" on Saturday night at 7:00.

You all know that it moved to New Haven, don't you? Not in Newtown this year.

See you there!

Even if I don't make it to the GetAway, I am hoping to be at NOMAD (although this year's location is no longer a daytrip for me). School is starting hard. Sigh.

I've looked at the web site for NOMAD & have some idea of what it is & when it is. I'm thinking of going.

I went to NEFFA once, so is there someone who has been to both who might make some comparisons to give me a clue? My impression is that it may be less dance more music orientated. But both seem to have lots of music & dance.

It's a one-half or maybe one-third scale model of NEFFA.

Missing it this year...first time in six or seven....

Peter.
