13 Sep 03 - 05:08 PM (#1018286) Subject: RE: Lyr Req: South From: Sorcha I have found South Coast, South Wind, a band called Beautiful South, but nothing at all for just South. Try checking JC's Tunefinder for Southwind. It is a beautiful, common tune and the lyrics that I have seen are in Gaelic. |
13 Sep 03 - 05:10 PM (#1018288) Subject: RE: Lyr Req: South From: Q (Frank Staplin) I remember this as a famous instrumental by Benny Moten. There were no words. Written in the 1920s, It had a revival in the 1950s or 1960s with the original recording re-issued. |
