When I was at School for Scottish Arts, some of the kids found this out, and harassed the Canadians regularly. They of course retaliated by calling Americans Yankees. Which provoked quite an itneresting response from the kids from the south. |

By the way, contrary to what our Southern bretheren profess Yankees only live in the five New England states, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont. My cat ate a load of dressing and gravy and slept soundly for twelve hours..the dog had turkey and slept next to the cat...ah bliss, autumn long weekends are the best. |

Got skunked trout fishing on Saturday, but had a glorious autumn day on Georgian Bay anyway. It poured rain Sunday morning so I didn't clean out the eaves. Spent part of Sunday with my aging mother and my sisters. Jammed with a pal on Monday. Hugged my wife and kids and was thankful I could. Peace, Mooh. |
