The Olde Towne of Portsmouth Virginia has a Scottish Walk on December 28th. In the spirit of Hogmanay, we have a massed band of Pipers and Drummers. All who attend walk in the parade. All is free. We have Single Malt tastings, children's story tellers, and jam sessions in the pubs on High Street. Bring your family, your dog, and dress warmly. 3:30 PM parade formation on Washington and Queen Sts. Happy HOlidays. Heely

I'll be there. I'll check w/ a friend w/ the Tidewater Pipes & Drums- he may already be slotted for this. Sounds like a good time!

Thanks for your reply. I am in the Tidewater Pipes and Drums, and it is on our schedule - We also have the Chesapeake Sheriff's pipes and drums and word is that the Quantico Marine Corps Band will participate. Also on tap are three members of our Grade I City of Washington Pipe Band. Though the holidays are a tough time to commit performers to attend - so we just mass band with whomever comes. If it isn't FUN we don't do it. Heely
