It really is an improvement on the old place: no noise from the bar or the jukebox, and the room is more square, a much beter shape. It didn't bother most of us, and I dareaay we'd have get used to the people holding hands in g the gents (I think it was hands), but the new landlord wasn't as interested in having us there. George "I-want-to-stamp-on-his-fingers" Norris used to be in Magna Carta. He had to move, and it turned out to be to far away for himn to come, except occasionally; which is a shame.
