The harmonies were the best i've heard in ages, able and abetted by suprise guest - the great Louie Killen. He joined the Watersons on several numbers and did a short set of his own in't second half including a geordie version of the Christmas story, brill!. |

I went because it was them and being a cynical old bggr expected not to be impressed. I'm very happy to say they were superb. ( very impressed by Tim van Eycken, and must get a CD of Dr Faustus.) And what a treat for Vin to have Killen as well. |

Harmonies were joyous and Killen's solo spot was worth the admission alone. Looking forward to seeing them at The Flowerpot, Derby on Thursday(18th) |
