30 Dec 03 - 07:34 AM (#1082252) Subject: RE: BS: Sessions in Holland From: Guessed I was told by some Dutch dancers that the most likely place is after dance practice (display folk dancing that is). I would bet on the Irish Club (there will be one) and any pub called Seamus O'Donnals or Kitty O'Marrah's. AND in Friesland I would expect there would be regular statements of cultural identity - I think shanties are popular. They are the butt of Dutch jokes apparently. Tell us what you find. |
