The Chorus goes "Keep your hands off red haired Mary, her and I are to be wed. We'll see the preist this very mornin' And tonight we'll lie in the marriage bed." The only verse I can remember is the last one: "But that red haired girl, she kept on smiling, 'Sir, I'll go with you' she said. We'll forget the priest this very Mornin' and tonight we'll lie in Murphy's shed." I heard it called 'Red Haired Mary' but have no idea if it goes by another name. If any one can give me the lyrics, I would really appreciate it. |

Red Haired Mary From: jbrandberg@aol.com Hi I don't have the lyrics to 'Red Haired Mary' at the moment, but it was recorded by The Clancy Bros. & Tommy Makem. It was put out by Columbia Records, and the name of the recording is 'In Concert'. If you can't find it, and are still stuck I could probably copy them down. Good-bye |
