With one man... / One Man Shall Mow My Meadow

Subject: With one man...
From: Gin Crewe

Wanted- rest of the words and some music for the following-
From Edward Thomas's Pocket Book Of Songs For The Open Air

With one man, with two men we mow the hay together.
With three men, with four men, we mow the hay together-
With four, with three, with two, with one, no more, we mow the hay and rake the hay and take it away together etc, etc, etc

Anyone got a copy or seen it anywhere else?

Thanks for that, Allan C. Now I know it's late, but I 've found the page and it won't do anything, like give me the words etc.. it COULD be my computer, of course, or general cluelessness on behalf of yours truly.!!! Am I missing something obvious?

I checked my Fireside Book of Folksongs - - nada. Call your library and see if they have the Encyclopedia of Folksongs. Make the reference librarian do some work! *BG*.

I originally heard "My one man, my two men shall mow my meadow" sung by the Oxford University Morris Men.
