Perhaps it was a good thing because otherwise it would have probably been with a boy of my own age who wouldn't have insisted on using a contraceptive like he did, and then I'd have got pregnant. I thought he was ever so old at the time and was surprised that he still wanted to do it. Now I'm about the same age as he was and I still have a strong sex drive so I can understand why he did. After about a year he got engaged to a girl and told me he didn't want to see me any more, I suppose he'd been going out with her all along, and then he got married. It didn't really matter because I was leaving school anyway. A few years later I saw them in a pub, I was a bit drunk and was going to go up and tell her, but my friends stopped me. |
