Hi catters
I'm looking for the lyrics to a 50s song that goes like this,

When you walk in the Garden
in the garden of eden
with a beautiful woman
and you know how you care
then the voice from the garden from the garden of eden
tells you she is forbidden
can you leave her there.

appreciate any help

Was it a Frankie Vaughn song?

For our American friends, Frankie Vaughan was a popular singer in the 50s/early 60s. He's dead now, unfortunately. He did make one Hollywood film with Marilyn Monroe. "Garden of Eden" was an orginal U.S. hit that Frankie covered - I think.

The US hit, from 1956, was performed by my old pal from South Philly, Joe Valino--I believe that his version also charted in the UK--I think the song was written by Dennise Norwood--
