Sorry, I have to shout it...this Greek is over the effing moon, and a bottle of champaign does not help:

I just heard Cloudstreet singing "the Mill" live, for the first time, at Miskin 2004, thanks to My Guru Always Says, who phoned me from Miskin and left a voice message of them singing it. As my phone messages are diverted to my computer, this means that I had a WAV file of it. I promptly converted to MP3, and it is accessible from the home page of my wensite: www.folk4all.net

What was truly amazing for me is that Nicole and John are doing the very harmonies I had in mind when I recorded it in the first place.

A glorious job, and another song done better than I can ever do it...Cheers!

Cloudstreet were missed this weekend at the National Folk Festival.

When are they going to make a new CD?

Sounds interesting. And just a bit like the Young Tradition doing The Hungry Child...

Wish it had been a clearer phone line, but very glad I thought to send it - glad too that it went straight to answerphone & that ElG is such a high-techie. And I can hear me singing too!!! Not surprising as I was closer to the phone than anyone else I suppose.

It was Fab to hear Nicole & John do this live, a real class act singing a classy song, well done George!
