I want to hear Mike recite (and it is a bit of verse, never was a song) "Trevor the Trusty Trabant". Haven't heard it for at least a couple of years. Get him to give the history of how/when it was written.

Also, and this is one of my favourites, "The leather and Last" - not humourous but a lovely song and written, I believe, about his Dad.

o k but please be there before we start .
7.45 should be your arrival time then I can plan the evening.

have you heard Mike before? he's worth hi jakin up to Barton some time for 2 x 30 minutes, he was excellent at the Friday club when he did his gig, Lynne heraud and pat Turner came to hear him, thats an indication of his stature. George and I would surely support an evening with him.

Enjoy the w/end shame you didnt come and hear Cockersdale they were top drawer featuring an whole 2nd set devoted to the songs of the late Keith Marsden.
