I haven't heard the song in many a year but I can still remember the tune. I once saw Rab live and he opened with this song - I seem to recall him introduce it with something along the lines of "the basic premise of this song is that, if yer drunk againm then yer must have been drunk afore!" I saw him a couple or three times in Newcastle as support for Lindisfarne (he was booed off once) and I remember the song. I have exactly the same reason as you for looking it up - a theme night on drinking songs - only I think I may have left it a bit late (it's tonight).
