The first verse, (chorus actually I think) went something close to this. Put a candle in the window Cause I am getting set to go But I'll be coming home soon As long as I can see the light Can anyone fill me in on the rest of the lyrics to this song, or tell me who the writer, or artist is. Garrison got married a while back, took off to Denmark with his Danish wife, had a kid, and then became homesick for the praries. He has been back and been doing the show for several years now. He has been able to reach middle America with an all but forgotten genre of radio stories and music. (Not to mention... given many folk performers nationwide audience/consumers) |
