BS: Who went to Trent Bridge today?

I wonder if anybody went to Trent Bridge today. What a dissapointment. Seems like the English are on the rack again. What a bad week.
Ah well we can look forward to the disapointment of Tim Henman not getting to the finals this week!!!!!!!

I'm guessing that Sooz may have been there.

Disappointing, yes, but hardly "the English are on the rack again"

We've got a good, and improving team. The odd blip in a one-day match is hardly sackcloth and ashes stuff...

I was indeed and it was a fairly evenly balanced match until the last hour. If one or two dropped catches had been held it could have been quite a different story.

Yes we had a bit of a buttercup day today, didn't we.

Did you enjoy it anyway Sooz? Didn't see you on the telly!!!!

I've never adjusted to the one-day game. (But I'm intending to sample Twenty-20 or whatever it's called, if it's going to happen again.) I did get to two excellent days (Friday and Saturday) of the Headingley test, followd by the same two days at the Trent Bridge test (but not rounded off with grub at Bryan's world-famous chippie in the latter case).

For me, seeing Henman knocked out is the only potential compensation for the footie. Well, that and the fact that I put a tenner on Portugal at the start....

Peter, the 20/20 starts next week (I think) Mike and I went to the finals last year - three matches in one day/night. Quite frantic and not quite cricket but it did attract new people to the game which can't be all bad. Not so sure about the music in the intervals - Atomic Kitten are not my cup of tea!

Yep, she's been pestering me ever since the Zimbabwe one-day game at Trent Bridge last year. Should never have given her my phone number. Kylie and Emma are so jealous! :0)
