A new innovation over the last couple of years has been the folk club at which some of the invited guests do spots of 20 minutes or so, but it's all very laid back and great fun. I'll be driving from Harrow - although Harrow & Wealdstone is on the West Coast main line, I don't think trains from Manchester stop there, but you could change at Watford Junction onto a Silverlink train, if that's any help (or the Bakerloo line, but that's slower!)
