What are the main bluegrass festivals where I would be sure of a good tune? thanks, mj |

Not quite the same thing as Bluegrass I know, but a nice friendly 'do' over a weekend, with very good attendance and lots of good guest artists. Plenty of opportunity to jam too. Might be worth a look. I bet there'll be a thread about it on here a bit nearer the time, or my name's not SJ Mooseplaster! SJ :0) |

I saw a group called Appalachian Mist at the Dalmellington Folk Club and they were great - I felt like I was back home (I'm from bluegrass country - Virginia). I know there are regular bluegrass sessions held in Irvine, if you are anywhere around that area. You could probably make a few inquiries through the above website. |
