Add: WINGS OF A DOVE (Marley) If I had the wings of a dove, If I had the wings of a dove, Well, I would fly, fly away, fly away And be at rest. Fly away! Since I have no wings, since I have no wings, Since I have no wings, I'm gonna sing, sing, sing, Since I have no wings, since I have no wings, Since I have no wings, I'm gonna sing, sing, sing. If I had the wings of a dove, If I had the wings of a dove, I would fly, fly away, fly away And be at rest. Since I have no wings, since I have no wings, Since I have no wings, I'm gonna sing, sing, sing. Since I have no wings, since I have no wings, Since I have no wings, I'm gonna sing, sing, sing. If I had the wings of a dove, Imagine! If I had the wings of a dove, Well I would fly, fly away, fly away And I would be at rest, And I would be at rest. Bob Marley and the Wailers. I took this down from a recording (45?)that has disappeared. Can anyone add to it? Or correct it? |

I've wondered where it came from ever since, never for a MOMENT suspecting it was reggae. (My very-white, very-midwestern aunt did not exactly sing it like Marley, I'm guessing...) |
