06 Sep 02 - 05:41 AM (#777988) Subject: RE: Lyr Req: feet of a dancer From: Declan The song was written by Charlie McGettigan from Co Leitrim in Ireland, who among other achievements was a member of an excellent group called Jargon based in the Sligo/Letrim area, and won the Eurovision Song Contest as a duet with Paul Harrington singing The Rock & Roll Kids. I don't know if he has a web-site but its probably worth checking. The song has been recorded by a number of others including Maura O Connell and probably Eleanor Shanley. |

It won't be easy, but what can I say?

14 Nov 17 - 09:33 AM (#3888538) Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Feet of a Dancer (Charlie McGettigan) From: Jim Dixon It's a small point, but please take note: I believe both Maura O'Connell and Charlie McGettigan sing "someone who'll care" not "somone who cares." "Care" makes a better rhyme with "everywhere." |
