02 Sep 04 - 05:42 AM (#1262338) Subject: RE: Banjo for sale From: ced2 Eric, you are not after another banjo are you? This is beginning to sound like a serious addiction. Is there a banjoists anonymous or some other self help group who may be able to help with what seems to be a serious affliction? Come to think of it if there was they would probably have run a mile or 10 from Halifax!!! |

02 Sep 04 - 08:28 AM (#1262443) Subject: RE: Banjo for sale From: GUEST,Jon Easily, Countess... That said, I have heard this banjo and for £80, it seems like it could be a very good buy. If it plays well, you can not argue at that price!!! I never saw it closely though - is it an alloy rim job? As far as I know, Encore are a JHS brand name but I can't find anything on their site about Encore banjos - the ones I found are labled Vintage. I'd take my usual guess, ie, it's most likely a Samick. Jon |
