Sorry folks.

OK, it's long scale, with resonator. No case or gig bag.

I'll try to get hold of a camera and post some photos.

Eric, you are not after another banjo are you? This is beginning to sound like a serious addiction. Is there a banjoists anonymous or some other self help group who may be able to help with what seems to be a serious affliction? Come to think of it if there was they would probably have run a mile or 10 from Halifax!!!

It's a condition called, ' Banjo Aquisition Syndrome ' [ BAS ] it is as far as I know incurable but not contageous.

Come on, chaps, can you really afford to turn down this chance to try and copy that cool Gloworms sound?

Easily, Countess...

That said, I have heard this banjo and for £80, it seems like it could be a very good buy. If it plays well, you can not argue at that price!!!

I never saw it closely though - is it an alloy rim job? As far as I know, Encore are a JHS brand name but I can't find anything on their site about Encore banjos - the ones I found are labled Vintage. I'd take my usual guess, ie, it's most likely a Samick.
