Glad to see you are encouraging him in his heritage. Culture will live on.
Does he also drink pints & stop up till closing time?
Look forward to seeing you there,
Trim & the Doxy

remember - according to the 'Grandparents Manual'-Section III paragraph IV subsection xii:

Failure to obtain photos of granchildren during performances in public can cast serious doubts as to suitibility for grandparenting and possible revoction of license

Excellent choice dude! He can move up to a tambourine in a couple of years, no rush.

as long as he knows the difference between a trampoline and a bodhran........ I had a near miss once when I left mine on the grass at a festival. & I never leave them skin side up on a stool after another near miss with a large fundament bearing down on one!!!!! cushion schmushion!

He had a brill afternoon on the Saturday, however he wasn't too sure of the Morris dancers, when asked if he wanted to watch another dance or go t' pub, straight away he said 'PUB, PUB,PUB', that's my boy.

Mr Red, Surely the best place to leave a bodhran is where it can get sat or trampled on, and as for playing it, well a double ended stanley knife is good....

"PUB PUB PUB"?
When I was that age I was strapped into a pushchair and parked, I never got a choice.
Kids today are so lucky!
Good to hear about them being started young!

don't know if young muppett made his debut. the after affects of illness meant i had to sneak off during the afternoon. still i can now have a t-shirt printed to read "I went to Otley and slept through it"
Seriously, had a great time, thanks to ossenflags for his singing, fitz likewise, maisienan for performing her own compo's and to muppett for being muppett. 1st but definitley not last Otley festival.
And i can allways claim we were among 'em!!
