Hi everyone

All are welcome to come along from 8.30pm onwards to our lively little session

all singers, players, instruments, listeners etc. pleasantly received

The Pub is in the middle of the Barton-Le-Clay village nestling in the bosom of happy valley, between the Sharpenhoe Clappers and the Icknield Way hills, in the middle of the Chilterns

Come early and have a picnic and maybe even meet a hobbit

See you there

Ross

It was a mixture of John B and George - it was very good and quite a good mix of music - I even won the raffle

I think I've got a spotlight in November some time

I'll appreciate any support - I don't think I'll attract a large audience

Ross you will fill the place, Dude. Hi Sally that's a shame, hope you are alright. I don't think I am going on Wednesday, I am having a curry and ale night round my mum's and dad's house yummy. See you all soon. "The hour is later than you think. Already I have pinched a new song off of a Ragged Robin tape and will try to play it tonight."

That's a shame Sally - I was looking forward to hearing & seeing you again

What's the Wednesday night thing - something to do with the Hat Factory?

Thanks for the support Martin - I have written out a song list for the gig - just waiting for JB to confirm the date

Might even be in the new Unicorn - must be due out soon

The hour is later than you think?

My washing machine has packed up so I may be smellier than usual

Anyway children. Thanks to all that turned up on Monday, another great night was had by all. And if John ever turned up to see Ross on a Monday, he would know. I did a great song that would suit you John, you could do a great rendtion of it "Ragged Robin's" "The Lad I do Adour" With a Yeh HEY HEY HEY and a YO HO HO HO. The bold fisherwomen to the sea I shall go. And when I return with my shoal to the shore. I will come back to the little lad I do adour

Well I've only been away a day and I see a lively debate has occurred

I'm not sure who the bogus guest Ross was yesterday?

Many thanks to Martin, Derek, Bert Tann & Pat, Rita & Yvonne, Tony Vasse, John P, Mike Orwin, John Birch, Bill & Carlos

With me - an unlucky 13 - somethings got to happen before the crow cocks

Many thanks - to all of my friends (including the ones that will support me without me knowing about it and the ones I don't know about who I know about and the friends that don't know me at all)

I need a rest

Hi Martin

Have just read Theo's editorial in the Unicrorn

What's that all about?

And I think Mike's on the verge of getting his guitar back

Ross - getting smellier everyday

Good news about Mike's guitar, cheers Ross. I have forgotten my guitar while going to a practise with the folkaholicks, but never forgotten it on the way back. And I will have to leave Theo's Theorys up to your imagination. But I don't think it's about us lot. I may go into it a bit more if you buy me loads of ale one afternoon and I have not got to drive. (say no more) One Saturday afternoon of your choice, when I can stay at your house over night. How suttle is that? Oh and move away from the screen, I can smell you from here.

I am off to Winterbourne Monkton tomorrow afternoon until Sunday night, for a weekend of ale and more ale and maybe the odd roaring fire or two. See you all soon.

Is Theo talking bout Dunstable?
Or the folk roots showcase in St Albans?
Or the new Luton club?

No idea JB - I've got to get Martin drunk and put him up for the weekend to find out

I find Theo strange as he lives in Barton and rarely supports us - I think it's down to clashes with other things he does on Mondays and that he is more tune orientated than our session (hopefully)

Have a good weekend Martin - I'm afraid it's going to be quite a while before I'm free on a weekend

The point is, Theo has one.

Clubs dont just happen.

I believe I've got an entertaining line up for the Fridays at the Duke of Marlborough, while the Sundays are proving to be a good environment for both audience and performers.Last term saw minimum attendance of 15 on Sundays

Hope you can get over again to us soon although you mustnt 'over-expose'your self

Yeah JB, you're right

It's good that Theo makes a point - it shows he cares and has a knowledge

I'm not over to see you again until the 17th Ocober for a spotlight

Hope that's okay

I'm playing dominoes Thursday so that cuts down my chances of over exposing myself

Fridays are still out for me - I don't do much music at weekends as I enjoy doing other stuff
