Please note that bringing & consuming your own drinks on the premises is not allowed, unless you have OK'd it with the bartender on the evening. The hall is family and disability friendly. My personal contribution was a struggle against my personal demons, and the less said the better, but everyone else - wow! Paul & Lucy, Stitherum (a.k.a. Sooz & GUEST: Mr. Sooz) were well up to their usual high standard and, IMNSHO, it was a delight to hear Jane Kitchen solo doing the stuff she's best at (don't fret about the wayward tuning lass, happened to me too - I put it down to cold wood versus warm body (that's my excuse anyway)! LOL!). Duncan McFarlane was a revelation - a one-man folk-rock band if ever there was one - and Mick Pearce was, well he was Mick Pearce (and those who've heard him know exactly what I mean!). Two great sets from two very nice and highly talented guys. Bring on the next lot Les - can't wait! SJ :0) |
