26 Sep 04 - 07:35 PM (#1281796) Subject: BS: tarheel in hospital From: GUEST,furrs Hello everyone, I spoke to chuck, aka,Tarheel late last evening on the phone. He has been in the hospital since Thursday. It appears that while in the middle of a performance at the "mayberry days" festival in mt.airy,n.c., he collapsed on stage. He was rushed to the hospital and fortunately did not suffer a heart attack as feared. After close evaluation, they have concluded that he has an irregular heartbeat and at this point feel confidant it can be controlled by medication. Another evaluaton will be made at a later date, hopefully he will not have to undergo surgery for a defibulator. I am asking you all to please say a prayer for Tar, he is the kindest, dearest friend I know and has had a very difficult time this last year, and he really needs our support now. Thanks, Furrs |
