It's sure hard to see within the folds of his high price suits and his semi-psychotic role as 'Denny Crane' the svelte Captain in tights of yore, but hey, it's work. Maybe he can cut yet another album. The writer/producer of the series is fond of music. |

"all shat to hell" - worn out from a life of shatoholicism. You can recognize the true shatoholic by various symptoms. One is his tendency to introduce the subject of William Shatner on inappropriate occasions...hard as it is to imagine when that could be? Another is his tendency to fill his living place up with Star Trek memorabilia, action figures, etc. Another is his almost certain lack of female company...unless he is still married to some woman who can't stand him, but is too co-dependent to leave. |

08 Oct 04 - 12:36 AM (#1291986) Subject: RE: BS: Invent a new Shat-word From: Little Hawk Shatnificate (verb) - to completely obscure the main point of something by ranting on about various other extraneous things that don't make a whole lot of sense. Captain Kirk was very good at this. He once shatnificated a rebellious and homicidal (dare I say, "shatnicidal") main computer into a complete system nervous breakdown, saving the lives of his entire crew in the process. Shatnification is a handy device for confounding the opposition and saving the day. Everyone should learn to shatnificate effectively when it is necessary. Shatnification drives Klingons, Romulans, and some Mudcat regulars into such a state of incoherent fury that they do really stupid, reckless things and can easily be drop-kicked in the goolies or phasered into oblivion ("Set phasers to 'shake and bake', Mr Sulu, and give 'em both barrels!" "Aye, sir!" ZZZZZZZZZING! ZZZZZZZING! ZZZZZAAAPPP! KABLOOOEY!!!). I take shatnification seriously, and am already adept in modules 1, 2, and 3, and busy working on module 4. |

"I think it'll be a hot time in the old town tonight, that's what I make of it, Spock." (Spock looks puzzled...) "I don't follow you, Doctor. This is not an 'old town', it's a starship, and the climate control mechanisms are functioning perfectly at present." "You're hopeless, Spock." |
