I'm running part of the session in the White Horse in Maplehurst on Saturday, so won't make it to the Strawhead party. Have fun! (Any chance of another Lapins reunion on 13 November?) Kitty |

21 Oct 04 - 04:58 AM (#1302624) Subject: RE: strawhead From: s&r Strawhead have appeared every year at Fylde for thirty years I think - it wouldn't be Fylde without the Strawhead Concert. They were featured specially on the Marine Hall main concert to recognise their anniversary, and were presented with a tankard each from the Festival. Here's to the next thirty! Stu |

21 Oct 04 - 11:47 AM (#1302978) Subject: RE: strawhead From: Herga Kitty Manitas Well, Helen (and I) were invited to the TK do when we saw TK at Tom's big birthday party, so you can ask her, on Saturday at the Strawhead celebration, whether the Flooze is up for another rabbit reunion next month! Have a great time on Saturday (I saw Strawhead briefly at Banbury, but they were passing me in the opposite direction, so I didn't get an opportunity to tender my apologies for being absent from Haddenham). Kitty PS The last time I saw SH at Haddenham was when they did Colo-rectal surgeon for their encore..... |
21 Oct 04 - 02:03 PM (#1303084) Subject: RE: strawhead From: LesB Bernard, I was talking to Chris this afternoon. I don't think he will be spending much time sitting and he will he will be none to comfortable after the journey down. So he will need plenty of liquid painkiller. Cheers Les |
22 Oct 04 - 01:51 PM (#1304025) Subject: RE: strawhead From: GUEST,The Flooze Don't panic. Les Lapins reunions are a bit like old Morris side reunions - we don't actually sing or play anything just eat and drink well and mull over past times. Although we did actually sing at Raff's 60th party last year. We did not at Tom's thid year! I may be available on the 13th Nov. As I have just got back from Portugal I am still catching up. We did have a small session with ex pat Tony Mason in the Irish Bar in Sao Bras (much to the bemusement of the locals) but other than that the only music we caught was the tired singer of MOR oldies in the typical bar. I am looking forward to seeing Strawhead as usual. Jane will be there too. Chris's accident sounds a bit like the job Malc had putting up Ken Howard's gazebao a few years back..... Helen |
