28 Oct 04 - 07:21 PM (#1310023) Subject: tempo charts:bpm ->andantino From: Big Mick I am working with an old music book and it lists the tempo as Andantino, which I take to mean slightly faster than Andante. But when I went looking for a chart which translates this into beats per minute I couldn't seem to find one. It occurs to me that such a chart would be useful to musicians. Can anyone help me here? All the best, Mick |

It made me look at the other thread and realise I'd only put half the table in (the table is just what's embossed in the plastic on the back on my tiny electronic metronome). Coincidentally I was just looking at some classical guitar music which had the indication: Andantino (1/4=88) Mick |
